UDETMA is a pioneer in Spain dedicated to the study and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Its uniqueness is to use new diagnostic techniques and integrate different medical specialties in the same space simultaneously, thereby improving patient care.

The primary objective of the unit is to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disorders. UDETMA born of Nephrology of Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova of Lleida. The unit consists of medical specialists associated with vascular disorders (internists, nephrologists, neurologists, endocrinologists and vascular surgeons), as well as highly specialized nursing staff.
